Full description and what we offer
U.S. Optics started in 1991 on California's beaches, building custom rifle scopes to order. The company quickly outgrew its original Buena Park shop and moved to Brea, where they ramped up production and pioneered the Low Power Variable Optic (LPVO) category that's now standard in modern tactical shooting.
"Since '91, U.S. Optics products have only been boutique and high-end."
The company serviced USMC sniper scope contracts, replacing Unertl 10X units with improved MST-100 models. By 2014, they shifted toward commercial off-the-shelf production with their SR, ST, MR, LR, and ER scope lines—all known for compact size and rugged build quality.
Following acquisitions and a move to Kalispell, Montana in 2017, U.S. Optics relocated again to Rutherford College, North Carolina in 2019. Their current facility—converted from a historic hosiery factory—is the largest in company history and includes on-site testing ranges where technicians verify real-world performance on every product.
U.S. Optics introduced the TS-Series specifically to fill a market gap—delivering U.S. Optics reliability at prices accessible to average shooters rather than just high-end buyers.
