Full description and what we offer
Killer Instinct was established in 2013 with one mission: reverse the trend of low-quality, underperforming hunting gear. They design crossbows for hunters, by hunters—combining highly technical products with affordability, accuracy, and dependability.
Engineering, design, testing, sales, customer service, and marketing all happen at their Frankenmuth, Michigan headquarters. Manufacturing takes place in Taiwan. This split approach means direct customer support from Michigan while leveraging efficient manufacturing.
All Killer Instinct crossbow models come standard with their Pro Package: - 4×32 multi-reticle illuminated scope - 2-3 bolts with field points - Quiver and quiver bracket - String suppressors - Rope cocker - Rail lube
Their signature X-cam technology delivers quiet operation, very low vibration, and accuracy that hunters compare to crossbows costing twice as much. Customers consistently report it "feels and shoots like a $2,000 crossbow" at a fraction of that price.
| Coverage | Duration |
|---|---|
| Crossbow frame/parts | Lifetime |
| Limbs | 5 years |
| Scope, quiver, accessories | 1 year |
| Strings, cables, bolts (wearable) | Not covered |
Warranty is void if: The bow is modified, altered, or dry-fired; damaged by accidents or abuse; or not registered within 60 days.
For an extra layer of coverage, BowShield expands beyond the standard warranty: - Accidental damage protection (including dry-fire damage) - Transferable coverage (can pass to new owner if bow is sold) - Priority service for repairs - Discount on strings and cables - 3-year or 5-year plans with flat-rate pricing (no surprise increases)
Proper upkeep keeps your bow running and warranty valid: - Rail lubrication: Every 4-6 shots (rail lube only, not string wax) - String/cable waxing: Monthly during storage; every other use when shooting - Cock time limit: No longer than 8-12 hours - String/cable replacement: Every 2-3 years or sooner if wear is visible
1. Start at 10 yards, shoot into a target 2. Adjust scope until bolt hits where you aim 3. Move back to your preferred yardage for the top reticle 4. Re-zero until hitting target (scope reticles generally calibrated for 20-60 yards in 10-yard increments) 5. Rule of thumb: At 16 clicks, your aim point moves 1 inch at 20 yards
Models include: BRAWLER, BURNER, DIESEL-X, FANATIX, FATAL-X, FIERCE, FIERY, FUEL, FURIOUS PRO 9.5, HERO, LETHAL, LETHAL HD, LOGIX, MOTIVE, RAPID, RIPPER, RIVAL, RUSH, SPEED, SWAT XP, SWAT X1, TEMPRX, TRAUMA-X, VITAL-X, and VITAL-X 430. "The X-cam system is everything I hoped it would be: quiet, very low vibration, and accurate. It feels and shoots like a $2,000 crossbow." — Customer review
