RUBOX manufactures modular ballistic barrier systems rated to intercept rounds up to 18,000 joules (12.7mm equivalent). Their blocks combine a proprietary mineral granulate with ActiveRub ballistic rubber—a self-sealing material that absorbs all projectile energy and heat without ricochet.
The granulate is temperature and humidity resistant, separates bullet waste automatically for easy cleanup, and allows reuse of the blocks indefinitely.
The blocks themselves weigh only 23kg, require no special tools or binders, and assemble in under an hour. One person can build and reconfigure walls; a three-person crew can construct a complete 3.5m × 2.5m shoothouse in around 3 hours.
They've tested extensively against: - 9mm LUGER (90gr & 124gr FMJ) - 5.45×39mm, 5.56×45mm, 7.62×39mm FMJ - .338 Lapua Magnum - .50 BMG (750gr A-MAX)
All tests at angles from 15 to 90 degrees. No ricochet. No failures.
Civilians building private ranges, law enforcement training facilities, and military operations. The system supports unlimited configuration options—walls, angles, distances—and dismantles just as easily for relocation.
