Full description and what we offer
Starline Brass was founded in 1976 by Robert Hayden, Frank Snow, and Paul Knepp—all with ties to Sierra Bullets. The company started in West Covina, California, initially focusing on custom headstamps before a major Federal contract for FBI 10mm Auto ammunition fueled growth. In 1992, Starline relocated to Sedalia, Missouri, to expand distribution and escape California's manufacturing challenges.
Today, Starline operates from a 60,000 square-foot state-of-the-art facility and remains family-owned, known for producing brass that reloaders trust for consistency, durability, and accuracy.
Quality Control That Matters - Hand inspections and dimensional checks at multiple manufacturing stages - Every cartridge fully inspected before shipping - Unique annealing process between each draw for consistent metallurgy - In-house tooling design for primer pockets and flash holes ensures tight tolerances
Brass Built to Last Starline's precision-drawn cases are known for withstanding multiple reloads—often outperforming competitors at higher price points. The metallurgy consistency makes them ideal for:
