Location details and information
Reno Rod & Gun Club brings together outdoorsmen and women around fishing, shooting sports, and outdoor education. The club hosts shooting events at the Regional Shooting Facility in Reno, an outdoor range with long distance rifle targets and close distance pistol bays, and its sessions include skeet shooting alongside rifle sighting-in and general pistol practice. Shooting events are held on a bi-monthly basis. All first-time attendees complete a short club safety course before joining a live event, and eye and ear protection is required on the range.
Beyond shooting, the club organizes fishing trips on the Truckee River and fly fishing outings around Reno, plus monthly club gatherings for members to socialize. The club also plans to train club-designated Range Safety Officers to help supervise shooting events.
