Heckler & Koch, the German firearms manufacturer known for military-grade weapons, consolidated its U.S. operations by closing its New Hampshire facility and expanding significantly in Columbus, Georgia.

The company invested $28.5 million in a new 50,000 square-foot manufacturing facility in west Columbus, creating 84 new jobs over two years. The move represented a strategic shift to consolidate production and modernize manufacturing capabilities.

H&K manufactures:

The company uses modern manufacturing techniques and staffs the facility with experienced engineers and technicians. Production includes both military-contract weapons and civilian-legal variants sold through authorized dealers.

The Georgia facility represents H&K's major consolidation of U.S. manufacturing. The company received support from the Georgia Economic Development Department and local Columbus economic incentives for the relocation and job creation.
