Live Free Ballistics emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic when the owners—recreational shooters themselves—realized quality ammunition was nearly impossible to find. Rather than accept subpar options, they decided to manufacture it. In 2021, they set up their operation in New Hampshire and started small-batch production with the precision standards they demanded as shooters.

Live Free sources ammunition components domestically whenever possible. That includes: - American-made NAS3 brass casings (stronger, lighter, magnetic, corrosion-resistant) - American-made primers - Domestically-sourced powder and projectiles

Mass production means tolerances slip. Live Free stays small intentionally. Small batches allow them to fine-tune loads and maintain optimum tolerances that translate directly to better shooting performance.
