Tinnin Hunt Club

A family-owned private hunting preserve and sporting clays facility near Bosque, New Mexico, roughly 45 minutes south of Albuquerque along I-25, sitting next to the Rio Grande and bordering the Bernardo Wildlife Refuge. The club has operated since 1982 and reports more than 1,000 guided hunts over its history.

The property's sporting clays course includes a 5-stand set over water, with stations laid out at varying difficulty levels for shooters from novice to experienced. Big game hunting on the preserve covers mule deer and elk, and bird hunting covers ducks, pheasants, geese, quail, and chukar, drawing on the natural game population along the adjoining wildlife refuge.

A clubhouse on site handles group lunches, and the club offers lodging for guests staying longer. Tinnin is open to the public rather than members-only, operates by appointment, and sells shotgun ammunition on site for shooters who don't bring their own.
