Cowboy Action Match

This is a Cowboy Action match where you shoot timed stages with single-action revolvers, lever rifles, and shotguns while dressed in Old West gear under an alias. It's competitive but built on fun and community—less about tacticool speed, more about embracing the period and testing fundamentals across different guns.

Each stage puts you in a scenario straight out of the frontier. You'll draw and fire, work through targets, and move between stations. The mix of handguns, rifles, and shotguns keeps you sharp on transitions and different shooting positions. Tioga County Sportsmen's Association runs this match as part of the broader SASS circuit.
