Cowboy Action Match at Tioga County Sportsmen's Association puts you through timed shooting scenarios using single-action revolvers, lever rifles, and shotguns—the real deal, Old West style. You shoot under an alias in period costume, competing against the clock through stages designed around classic gunfighter situations.
This is SASS-format action shooting: fast, fun, and built around nostalgia for frontier gunhandling. Each stage has you moving between shooting positions, engaging steel or paper targets in sequences that test speed and accuracy with historically correct firearms. It's competitive but welcoming—shooters of varying experience show up to participate.
