The fee for the 18 hour class is $300.00 This includes all that one needs to complete the class (firearms, ammunition, training books, and lunch).
As directed by NYS the class is required to have 16 hours of classroom, with a written exam that requires 90% to pass. Plus, two hours of hands-on live fire exercises with a qualification for proficiency. Both requirements are reasonably easy to accomplish.
