Buck Yeah! Taxidermy produces museum-quality mounts using the same techniques competition taxidermists rely on. Every piece is commercially tanned—a critical factor most shops skip that directly impacts how long your trophy actually lasts.
Quality taxidermy takes time. If someone promises a fast turnaround, you're sacrificing quality.
Standard mounts run 10-12 months from drop-off. European mounts take 3-4 months. This isn't them being slow—it's them being honest.
They use competition mounting techniques that most shops ignore:
Their skull cleaning process uses either water submersion or Dermestid beetles (which remove flesh gently without brittleness). Then comes detailed degreasing, peroxide whitening, and UV-protected sealant on antlers to preserve natural color.
DIY European mounts often fail because boiling skulls makes them brittle and crack. Buck Yeah!'s method produces showroom-quality results.
Mannequins and supplies come from reputable commercial and competition-grade taxidermy suppliers. Fresh or frozen skulls only—rotten skulls won't be accepted.
