NRA Basic Pistol Instructor Course

Located at 2820 South County Road 25A, this shooting range offers comprehensive pistol training programs led by NRA and SAFTD-certified instructors.

The facility is best known for hosting the NRA Basic Pistol Instructor Course, a rigorous 16-hour, 3-day certification program designed to train qualified candidates to become NRA-certified pistol instructors. This performance-based course combines classroom instruction with extensive range time, covering both revolvers and semi-automatic pistols.

Instructor candidates learn to teach:

Participants receive the NRA Guide to the Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, official Instructor Manual, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, and upon successful completion, an NRA course completion certificate.
