Cherrybend Pheasant Farm has operated as Ohio's pheasant hunting destination since 1954. The Ellis family—a long-time Clinton County farming operation with roots on Cherrybend Road dating back to the mid-1800s—still runs the operation today.
The farm sits on 640 acres of working grain and hunting land. They maintain active crops (corn, soybeans, wheat) alongside cover crops like sorghum and sunflowers that support the hunting operation. This working farm model means plenty of natural habitat and space, even on busy days.

Early booking recommended—the farm limits late-season bookings as they project bird availability and hold inventory for confirmed customers.
Beth Ellis manages the farm day-to-day. Ariane Sias handles daily operations and gamekeeping. The team includes experienced guides and trained hunting dogs for working the fields.
