Full description and what we offer

A-TEC started in 1999 when Anders E. Johansen realized existing silencer technology was obsolete. He began development and production in a garage with one goal: make better suppressors. What started as a one-man operation now runs from a modern 1,400 square meter factory producing over 60,000 silencers annually for markets across Europe, Africa, and beyond.

"We do not suppress data—we suppress sound."

A-TEC backs up performance claims with raw test data. They calibrate equipment against prior data, test under identical atmospheric conditions using the same guns and ammunition, and compare their products against competitors using the same criteria. Each silencer ships with a graph containing their actual measured data.

  • Recent Investment: €1.2 million invested in R&D over the last two years, resulting in redefined silencer geometry that extends the boundaries of what's possible in suppressor technology.

PMM-6 (9mm) - Weight: 215g - Diameter: 34.4mm - Added length: 195mm - Thread options: 1/2"-28 UNEF, M13.5x1 LH, M13x1, M12x0.75

PMM-45 (.45 ACP) - Weight: 267g - Diameter: 38mm - Added length: 196mm - Thread options: M16x1, M16x1LH, 0.578x28

Both PMM models use modular design—add or subtract modules to adjust the weight/efficiency ratio for your specific needs. Use only jacketed ammunition to prevent lead residue buildup that reduces performance and lifespan.

A-TEC carbon fiber silencers include calibrated temperature safety tags that indicate if the suppressor has exceeded heat limits (10 rounds standard calibers, 5 rounds magnum before cooling required). The tag progresses through two stages—warning and stop-use—to prevent damage.

A-TEC silencers are available through authorized dealers. Visit their website for the dealer locator, or download the 2025 catalog for full specifications and technical details.
