CEI Coatings operates a 34,000 square foot facility in Eugene that handles powder coating, media blasting, and painting under one roof. Since 2003, they've moved from custom motorcycle paint to serving steel fabricators, construction firms, RV shops, aircraft services, and large-scale fleet operations across the region.

CEI provides three core services:

• •Powder Coating - Long-lasting, low-maintenance finishes using epoxy, acrylic, polyester, and polyurethane chemistries in single or multi-coat applications. No liquid carrier means thicker coatings than traditional paint, with uniform finish and no running or sagging. They use zirconium prewash technology for superior adhesion and can process up to 15,000 sq ft of material per day through a 22' x 8' x 8' curing oven.

• •Media Blasting - Full range of blasting services for large items, production projects, and stock stripping/cleaning/preparation. They operate a 60' x 16' x 16' blasting booth—sized for standard freight trailers and large equipment.

• •Painting - Automotive base clears, single-stage finishes, industrial enamels, epoxies, alkyds, and textured finishes. Fleet collision repair, aesthetic maintenance, complete repaints. Two 56' paint booths and additional 26' and 55' booths with makeup air and heat.

All operations run indoors. The lot is secure with restricted entry and automatic gates.

CEI's Quality Assurance lab digitally measures: - Film thickness - Adhesion - Pencil hardness - Gloss level - Surface profile

They pursue SSPC QP1 and PCI certifications and generate detailed SOPs, Certificates of Compliance, and QA documentation for government and third-party compliance requirements. They handle receiving/departure records, inventory tracking, and full project management with transparent practices.

• •Eric Muller: 9+ years with CEI. Operations, logistics coordination, large-scale project management. Managed millions of pounds of steel coating.
