• •Important Note: Central Oregon Mushroom Club is a mycology and mushroom hunting organization, NOT a shooting range or gun club. This is a community organization based in Bend, Oregon that has been operating for over 15 years.

The Central Oregon Mushroom Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the study, appreciation, and safe foraging of mushrooms and fungi in Central Oregon. With over 150 members since its founding in 2011, the club brings together fungi enthusiasts of all experience levels.

The club hosts a variety of educational and recreational activities:

• •Monthly Meetings - Held on the third Thursday of select months (March-June, September, November) at Trinity Episcopal Church in downtown Bend, featuring expert presentations on fungi identification, cultivation, and culinary uses
• •Seasonal Field Trips - Organized mushroom hunting expeditions for members
• •Fungi Fest - Annual October event held at Sunriver Nature Center
• •Cooking Demonstrations - Chef-led culinary presentations featuring mushroom recipes
• •Educational Resources - Videos, articles, safety guides, and identification resources for members
• •Social Events - Member potlucks, campouts, and the annual "Survivor's Banquet"

Members receive exclusive access to field trip registration, member-only resources, videos, online forums, and special event invitations. The club emphasizes lifelong learning about the complex world of fungi and sustainable, safe mushroom foraging practices.

Based in Bend, Oregon, the club serves the Central Oregon community and welcomes newcomers to monthly meetings. All meetings are open to the public, though certain field trips and events are reserved for members.
