About Central Oregon Mushroom Club
The Central Oregon Mushroom Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the study, appreciation, and safe foraging of mushrooms and fungi in Central Oregon. With over 150 members since its founding in 2011, the club brings together fungi enthusiasts of all experience levels.
Activities and Programs
The club hosts a variety of educational and recreational activities:
- •Monthly Meetings - Held on the third Thursday of select months (March-June, September, November) at Trinity Episcopal Church in downtown Bend, featuring expert presentations on fungi identification, cultivation, and culinary uses
- •Seasonal Field Trips - Organized mushroom hunting expeditions for members
