Portland Rifle and Pistol Club

Portland Rifle and Pistol Club has been part of Portland's shooting community for over a century. What started with members building the facility in 1948 has grown into a dedicated club focused on precision marksmanship, competition shooting, and youth development.

PRPC operates a 50-foot indoor range with 24-hour access for members. The facility accommodates:

• •.22 long rifle air guns and rifles
• •Non-jacketed pistol loads (below 900 fps)
• •Two 21-foot bullet trap lanes for jacketed pistol rounds

PRPC isn't a casual walk-in range. The club runs serious competitive programs:

• •Bullseye Pistol Team - championship-level competitors
• •Smallbore Rifle Team - weekly practice and sanctioned matches
• •Juniors Program - ages 10-20, small bore rifle focus

Quick draw and defensive shooting are not allowed. PRPC specializes in target and precision small bore disciplines.

Membership requires an application and vetting. Contact the club to request an application and discuss the approval process.
