Portland Rifle and Pistol Club

PRPC is a member-built rifle and pistol club in Portland, Oregon, with a clubhouse its own members constructed in 1948. The club's founding articles of incorporation call for encouraging organized rifle and pistol shooting in the Portland community, maintaining a range, running training classes, and developing competitions, all in service of safe, efficient small-arms handling and marksmanship education.

The clubhouse contains an indoor 50-foot range for pistol and rifle shooting, with jacketed ammunition restricted to two short-range bullet traps. PRPC specializes in small-bore target and precision shooting, fielding a championship-winning pistol team, a small-bore rifle team, and a youth small-bore program. Quick-draw and defensive-shooting practice are not permitted on the range.
