Cowboy Match

Cowboy Action Shooting is a timed competition where you shoot single-action revolvers, lever rifles, and shotguns through scenarios designed like Old West gunfights. You adopt a period alias and costume, then compete against the clock and other shooters on stages that recreate historical situations. It's shooting with character and story built in.

Matches run multiple stages in a single day. Each stage presents a different scenario—a saloon shootout, a cattle rustler confrontation, whatever the match designer dreams up. You're scored on speed and accuracy combined, so precision matters as much as being quick. March 23rd at Cowboy Action Shooting Sports in Pennsylvania.
