About This Program

What to expect when you show up

Boy Scouts shooting sports day at Ashaway Sportsman's Club. Scouts work on firearms merit badges and rank requirements under BSA-certified adult instruction, with safety drilled throughout every stage. If you've got scouts in your life, this is structured, supervised firearms training that checks a real box in their advancement. The troop handles logistics—ammo and guns are provided. Adults run the range, scouts shoot, instructors give feedback on technique and safety habits. Straightforward merit badge work, nothing fancy.
