Full description and what we offer
The Beaufort area is a serious hunting destination. Six professional hunting lodges dot the region, each offering different specialties—from white-tail deer and turkey to ducks, quail, doves, and wild boar. If you're planning a hunt in South Carolina's Lowcountry, these aren't just places to sleep; they're full operations with guides, meals, and facilities built around getting you on game.
The lodges range from basic fair-chase operations to all-inclusive resorts. Most include:
Cypress Creek Hunting Lodge near the Savannah River has built a reputation as one of the Southeast's top operations. They handle everything—comfortable lodging, linens, housekeeping, full walk-in cooler for game storage, and access to both gun and bow ranges.
Turkey Hill Plantation in Ridgeland is known specifically for wing shooting—some of the best in South Carolina. They also run sporting clays, special events, and accommodate groups.
Broxton Bridge Plantation (12 miles north of Hampton) offers a modern Helice range, 15-station sporting clays, pistol and rifle ranges, plus fishing and trail riding if you want variety between hunts.
Buck Run Hunting Lodge focuses on fair-chase white-tail and turkey hunts with guide service and lodging included.
Single Shot Guide Service handles the planning headache—they match you with the right guides and accommodations for your hunt.
The seasons run year-round for different game, so there's always something in season in the Lowcountry.
Most lodges cluster around the Beaufort, Estill, and Ridgeland areas, within reasonable driving distance of Hilton Head and Savannah. Easy access for out-of-state hunters.
