Toney Creek Plantation sits on property that's been in the same family since 1832. What started as John Chapman's homestead evolved through dairy farming in the 1940s and a pallet shop in the 1960s. In 2009, Wes Holliday and Brian Sullivan turned the working farm into a hunting operation—and they've been running guided hunts ever since.
This is a family operation. Wes still farms the land. His daughter Becca Holliday recently became Assistant Manager and hunts actively behind her GSP, Axel. The staff treats you like you belong there.
Waterfowl hunts focus on ducks in flooded timber, swamps, and managed impoundments across Anderson County and beyond. Guides travel yearly to scout top locations—Wisconsin, North Dakota, Arkansas, Louisiana. You're hunting ducks that fly hard, not pen-raised birds.
Upland hunts run quail and chukar on managed fields. The plantation has dedicated dove fields and pheasant tower areas.
Youth hunts are a regular offering. Reviewers consistently mention kids on their first duck or upland hunt, and the guides' focus on making that experience special.

"Nothing fancy but ALL the essentials plus fresh sheets and towels! Russell is the man! I'm still bragging about the breakfast he cooked all of us in complete silence as we slept soundly in our bunks." - Andrew Yingling
The cabin sleeps multiple hunters. Breakfast is cooked on-site after morning hunts. The dining hall handles larger groups.

One reviewer: "I have hunted all over the world, and his ducks fly as good as any ducks you will see anywhere. There is no such thing as a bad day or 'you should have been here last week' at Toney Creek Plantation."
