The Day County Sheriff's Office operates from 710 West 2nd Street in Webster, SD and serves the entire county plus the communities of Andover, Bristol, Pierpont, Roslyn, and Waubay. The office also assists Webster Police Department when needed.
The sheriff's office operates with: - 1 Sheriff - 3 full-time Deputies - 1 full-time Administrative Assistant - 1 full-time Jail Administrator - 6 part-time Jailer/Dispatchers
Day County processes all three types of South Dakota concealed carry permits:

Day County Sheriff's Office currently hiring full-time Deputy Sheriffs. Minimum qualifications: - High School Diploma/GED - US citizen - At least 21 years old - Valid driver's license - No felony or domestic violence convictions - Willingness to relocate to Day County - Ability to work weekends, nights, holidays - Pass drug screening and background investigation
