Ames Plantation in Grand Junction, Tennessee operates one of the premier deer hunting programs in the South. The property is recognized by wildlife biologists and Quality Deer Management (QDM) experts nationwide for achieving outstanding results through science-based herd management.

Members aren't just hunting land—they're joining a program with deep roots. Hobart and Julia Ames established the tradition of outdoor recreation here, hosting the National Field Trial Championship for bird dogs for over 35 years. The plantation continues that legacy with structured hunting, educational opportunities, and respect for the land.

Every decision at Ames Plantation is built around three priorities:

1. Achieve Quality Deer Management Goals - The program is driven by biological data gathered directly from the deer herd, not guesswork 2. Preserve the Outdoor Experience - Members hunt in the tranquility and grandeur of West Tennessee countryside 3. Safety as Ultimate Priority - All operations center on safe hunting practices

Members have access to:

• •Squirrel hunting on managed land
• •Deer hunting through the QDM program
• •Turkey hunting during season
• •Guided quail hunts (can be arranged)

Duck hunting habitat is currently being developed for future use.

• •Membership Limit: 115 individuals maximum

• •Current Status: Applicants currently have an excellent chance of acceptance with no wait.

• •Membership Fee: $1,630 annually
• •$100 holding fee required with application
• •Remainder due by July 1st

• •Waiting List: Available for those wanting to join. Having your name on the list significantly improves chances of membership.
