Sporting clays at Memphis Sport Shooting Association walks you through a shotgun course designed to surprise you with realistic bird flushes—the closest thing to actual hunting without the predawn wake-up. Each station presents different angles, speeds, and distances that force you to read targets on the fly and adjust your lead.
You'll work through 50-100 targets spread across varied terrain, moving station to station. It's challenging enough to sharpen your swing and footwork, but the format rewards shooters who stay calm and trust their fundamentals. This is where shotgun skills get tested in a way clay pigeons from a stationary trap never will.
