Full description and what we offer
Alpine Taxidermy has operated in Fort Worth since 1982, building a reputation for transforming hunting trophies into lasting works of art. Their four-person team approaches every mount with the same level of detail—whether it's a local whitetail or an exotic species from overseas.
The shop specializes in three main areas:
They also handle skulls, rugs, horn mounts, and fish work. A detailed pricing guide is available on their website for each category.
"We distinguish between a commercial piece and a museum-quality work of art. We take the time to include details that may be missed by most taxidermists."
They're a USDA-certified facility, which means they can legally handle and prepare restricted animals for international hunting destinations like Tanzania, Mozambique, and New Zealand. Most taxidermists can't do this—Alpine can, and they waive clearance and transportation fees if you complete your mounts through their shop.
Their team stays current with modern techniques and works closely with each client to capture the character and essence of the animal. They treat every project as unique and personalized.
For convenience, they pick up trophies at three processing facilities:
5758 Shelby Rd., Fort Worth, TX 76140 (Just east of Alpine Shooting Range) (817) 478-0501 [email protected]
If you're planning an international hunting trip, their USDA certification and shipping guidance can save you major headaches at customs.
