Blue Roan Bend Outfitters started when Clay Meyer—called Meme by friends—discovered the ranch along the Colorado River in 1956 while searching for lost cattle. He purchased the land and spent decades clearing undesirable forestry to create better wildlife habitat. That early vision shaped what the outfitter does today: provide serious hunting and fishing on well-maintained, diverse terrain.
