Match Format & Competition - Falling steel target format—fast, accurate runs with instant feedback - Fun shoots and organized competitions throughout the year - Shootoff format based on "iron sharpening iron" principles - Events for stock guns and .22 caliber firearms

Unlike some shooting formats, AASA's approach is neither offensive nor defensive—it's competitive but socially acceptable and media-friendly. The falling steel format is spectator-friendly and easy to score.
