Clyde Wildlife Artistry is a one-man operation in St. George focused entirely on bird taxidermy. Owner Kelby Clyde grew up hunting waterfowl and upland game throughout southern Utah and trained for years before opening his shop. That hunting background informs everything—he understands what hunters want preserved and why.

Kelby specializes in:

• •Waterfowl: Ducks (17+ Utah species), geese (Canada, specklebelly, snow, cackler), swans (Trumpeter and Tundra—the Trumpeter being Utah's largest and most difficult)
• •Upland Birds: Pheasants, chukar, quail, wild turkey, sandhill crane
• •Custom Work: Head turners (mounted on shotgun shells, whiskey toppers, or duck calls), wings, tail fans, feet
• •Habitat & Display: All mounts include a simple driftwood base. Custom water work, ice, foliage, and plaques available by request

Because Kelby only does birds, he's invested in learning and refining techniques specific to feather work, wing positioning, and natural posture. He's constantly exploring new methods to make mounts look alive. You won't find him splitting focus across mammal mounts or fish—it's birds or nothing.
