Full description and what we offer
Sabots are injection-molded polycarbonate projectile holders that let you seat smaller-diameter bullets into larger cartridges. The result? Faster muzzle velocity, flatter trajectory, reduced recoil, and less barrel wear. Because the sabot material—not the bullet—contacts the riflings, you skip copper and lead fouling buildup. For varmint hunters and precision shooters, that's a game-changer.
The foundation package includes: - 100 polycarbonate sabots - Specialized two-piece seating die (plastic sabot holder + plastic seating rod) - Free printable reloading data
Model X01-22 is the entry point for anyone new to sabot reloading.
Seating sabot bullets requires a different technique than conventional reloading. The two-piece die features: - A plastic sabot holder (shaped like a shell holder) that snaps into your press ram - A threaded plastic seating rod (0.85" × 2.2") with a 1/8" center hole
The process: Insert the sabot into the holder, place the bullet in the sabot mouth, raise the ram until the bullet tip enters the rod's center hole, then drive the bullet into the sabot. Screw the rod up or down to control seating depth. All bullets must seat to the bottom of the sabot for consistency.

All data is computer-generated and intended for reference. Load and test multiple variations to find what performs best in your specific firearm.
For starting loads, reduce the calculated powder charge by at least 10% before working up to full loads. Never fire sabot ammunition in guns with muzzle brakes—the sabot can fragment prematurely and act as a barrel obstruction.
