Ftbelvoir Isportsman

Fort Belvoir iSportsman is the official recreational hunting, fishing, and watercraft recreation program for Fort Belvoir Military Installation in Virginia. This comprehensive outdoor recreation facility serves active duty personnel, veterans, retirees, and authorized civilians with access to diverse hunting and fishing opportunities across the installation's natural areas.

Fort Belvoir iSportsman offers multiple hunting seasons throughout the year:

• •Deer Hunting - Access to designated deer hunting areas with seasonal harvest data tracking
• •Waterfowl Hunting - Blind-based waterfowl hunting with designated blind usage areas
• •Wild Turkey Hunting - Spring and fall turkey hunting in managed zones
• •Bowhunting - Specialized bowhunting with qualification requirements and appointments
• •Fishing - Including recently stocked trout at Mulligan Pond and other fishing waters
• •Watercraft Recreation - Boating and water-based activities on base waters

All recreationists must obtain an iSportsman account and secure the appropriate permits before accessing recreational areas. Youth of all ages seeking permits must also have an iSportsman account. The facility provides an interactive online portal for permit acquisition, check-in/check-out, and area status monitoring.

The facility maintains comprehensive regulations documented in the annual Watercraft Recreation, Hunting, and Fishing Manual. Detailed maps, harvest data by season, and area usage information are available online. Bowhunting qualifications are conducted by appointment only.
