Location details and information
Northwest Sportsman's Club brings together shooters across eastern Washington for organized events, fundraising, and community outreach. Based in Spokane with a mailing address at PO Box 6025, the club coordinates multiple shooting activities throughout the year at established ranges in the region.
The club's main draw is their Fun Shoot series at Rock Lake Sporting Clays (Saint John, WA). Members compete in 100-round sporting clays courses with organized team play and prize pools. Events run 8:15 AM check-in through early afternoon, with catered lunch included.
Event Fees: - Current members: $80 (includes $10 prize pot, $50 clays, $20 lunch) - New/renewing members: $100 (adds $20 membership) - Non-shooters: $25 lunch only
Each shooter brings their own shotgun and ammo—sporting clays loads typically run 1300 fps or less, #7½ shot, 1 1/8 oz or lighter (no heavy hunting or magnum loads). Bring 6+ boxes of shells to participate in post-round games. Events cap at 50 shooters with random team assignment.
$10 from each registration goes into the prize pot—high team takes 50%, another team wins the other 50% via random draw.
The club's Annual Disabled Shoot (held in September at Miller Ranch, Cheney) runs 9 AM–2:30 PM and costs nothing for disabled sportspeople and families. The day includes released pheasants, lunch, and various shooting activities. Shooters can bring their own firearm or use club-provided guns. Contact Stan Flugel or Rob Allen at [email protected] for details.
Held in June at local venues (2025 at Runway 4 Event Center), the fundraiser features live auction items, raffles, catered dinner, and a no-host bar. Individual tickets and full tables (8 seats) are available.
Northwest Sportsman's Club operates as a member organization with a board of directors and handles donations, financial assistance requests, and community support. They maintain an active calendar of events and use their annual fundraiser to sustain operations.
