Full description and what we offer
Blackbelt Hunting Lodge operates on family-owned land in Sardis, Alabama that's been under active deer management for years. They work with Alabama's Department of Conservation to maintain herd density, improve antler development, and control harvest pressure—which means better odds of a trophy buck.
You hunt from shooting houses and ladder stands positioned along established deer trails and food plots. The lodge maintains supplemental food plots that actually draw deer—they use these for afternoon hunts while morning hunts focus on travel lanes between bedding areas.
| Hunt Length | Buck Limit | Doe Limit |
|---|---|---|
| 3-day hunt | 1 buck | 2 does |
| 4-day hunt | 2 bucks | 3 does |
Deer must have a 14-inch minimum inside spread. Non-standard bucks run $500 extra. Deer processing available for $50 per animal (wrapped and freezer-ready).
Non-hunters or guests can tag along for $125/day with a paying customer. Airport transportation from Birmingham or Montgomery runs $100 per party; Selma Craig Field is free.
Bonus hunting for coyotes, bobcats, and crows keeps things active year-round. The lodge also books events, meetings, and gatherings for groups looking to combine business with outdoor opportunity.
You'll need proper Alabama hunting licenses (including bait privilege). They don't hunt Sunday mornings. Alcohol is allowed after evening hunts but prohibited during hunting hours—operating vehicles or firearms under the influence isn't an option. 50% deposit secures booking; cancellations within 30 days forfeit the deposit.
