Shelby County Shooting Sports Association (SCSSA) would like to announce their Fall Basic BB program to begin on Thursday evening, September 18, 2025. This program is for children ages 8-15 who are interested in rifle shooting. The program covers basic rifle safety as well as basic hunting and field safety; fundamentals of marksmanship, and position rifle shooting. Students are introduced to 4-position BB gun shooting and the program culminates with a 4-position BB gun introductory competition in early December. Cost for the Semester course is $65.
