Cold Bay Adventures Lodge #1 is the #1 rated waterfowl outfitter in Cold Bay, Alaska—600 miles southwest of Anchorage. The operation has run continuous hunts since 1985 and was named Outfitter of the Year in 2018.
The 4,500 sq ft oceanfront facility accommodates up to 10 guests per week in 4 guest rooms designed for families, corporate groups, and serious hunters. Amenities include a main ocean view lodge room, full bar and dining area, finished basement, gun cleaning station, and drying room.
Location matters: Cold Bay is a major staging area for 10,000-20,000 emperor geese and hosts the world's largest population of Pacific black brant. Access is via daily Aleutian Airways flights from Anchorage ($1,100-$1,300 round trip).
Sea Duck Hunts (Oct 20 - Dec 16) Up to 13 species including harlequin, pintail, and other trophy seaducks. Fully guided using twin-engine boats and Core sound layout boats. 7-day trips run $5,600pp.
Pacific Black Brant (Sept 1 - Dec 16) Hunt the world's largest brant population on Izembek Lagoon. Self-guided 3-7 day trips start at $1,295; fully guided 7-day "Cast N Blast" trips run $4,500pp.
Emperor Goose Hunts (Mid-Sept - Dec 16) Fully guided and DIY options. 3-day packages start at $1,295; fully guided week combos with sea duck and brant start at $3,900.
