Ground Zero Airsoft

Ground Zero operates one of the UK's most active airsoft venues on 150 acres of private grounds at Somerley Estate in Ringwood, Hampshire. Located about a mile from the nearest road, the site draws players aged 12 to 75 with experienced marshals, helpful staff, and groups of up to 150 players per game.

Ground Zero runs two different game formats:

• •Sunday Games - Day-long rolling missions and continuous gameplay from 10:00-16:00 (summer) or 10:00-15:00 (winter). Players are split into 2-3 equally-sized teams with a team commander. When you're shot, you head to a dead zone, wait the specified time, and return to action. No stop-start gameplay—the whole field is active all day.

• •Saturday Games - Shorter attack-defend scenarios designed for faster play and more shooting. These run on alternate weekends and are ideal if you're new to airsoft or prefer quicker engagements.

• •Wednesday Games - During school holidays only, with gates open 08:30-18:00. Perfect for younger players with parents who need drop-off convenience. On-site burger van now operates these days.

If you don't own gear, Ground Zero offers:

• •Custom G36C Rental Guns - Customized for hire by Zero One Airsoft with latest internal components and MOSFET technology (must pre-book)
• •1000 BBs included with every gun rental
• •Safety Masks - Latest protective eyewear included
• •Combat Clothing Rentals - Jacket and trousers available

Each renter needs a completed rental form and proof of ID/address. Parents can show ID for groups, but each player needs their own form.

Optional annual membership is just £13 and includes: - UKARA registration (after 3 visits in 2+ months) - Professionally printed membership card posted to you - Sign up at lunch on any game day at the sign-in hut

UKARA membership is automatic once you hit the 3-game threshold and bring proof of ID on your third visit.

Full facilities include:

The varied terrain ensures different gameplay every game.

• •Minimum age: 14 without adult supervision; 12-13 year-olds must have an adult present
• •FPS Limits (0.2g BB): 350fps for AEGs, 425fps for semi-auto single-shot, 500fps for bolt action
• •Engagement Distance: 30-meter minimum for anything over 350fps
• •Safety Record: 9+ years operating with no complaints of mistreatment toward under-18 players
• •Protection: Full face protection recommended; eye protection required
