Team Grizzinator

Grizzinator is a family-owned and operated hunting outfitter based in Fairbanks, Alaska, run by Greg and Jana Jennen. Greg brings over 30 years of professional guiding experience and serves as both a full-time guide and pilot. Jana manages operations and is also an active guide. Both hunters have tested every product and service they offer in Alaska's extreme backcountry conditions.

June dates available (June 1-7, June 8-14, June 15-22, June 24-30)

These hunts take place near Fairbanks on Grizzinator's personal property. Clients stay in a lodge-style house with home-cooked meals, daily showers, comfortable beds, and nightly movies. Baiting allows guides to know exactly what bears are in a location before clients arrive, so you're only hunting proven shooter bears.

September 7-13

This combines rifle training with a fully guided black bear hunt. The academy teaches practical long-range shooting skills and hunting fundamentals for all experience levels—from youth introductions to seasoned hunters refining their abilities. Shooters stay aboard Grizzinator's private 50-foot yacht with hotel-style amenities: cozy rooms, 3 full bathrooms with showers, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with fireplace, video library, washer and dryer.

October 14-21 and October 23-31

Seven-day fully guided hunts during the prime rut season. Hunters stay aboard the 50-foot yacht, hunting miles of shoreline from custom-designed skiffs. One guide per two hunters. Home-cooked meals, hot showers, heated bunk rooms, and nightly movies included.

Grizzinator doesn't sell what looks good—they sell what works. Every product in their inventory has been tested in Alaska's toughest conditions by Greg and Jana personally. They also offer Alaska Magnum ARs and maintain relationships with state and federal agencies plus corporate partners.

Beyond the owners, Grizzinator's team includes two working hunting dogs: - Brooks (Brooks Range Barracuda Blue): A bear-tracking specialist who handles boat rides, flights, and pack work - Chena (Chena River Fox Red): The newer addition, eager to please and learning tracking and packing skills
