Full description and what we offer
Wolfpack Guides and Outfitter operates as the only registered guide service physically present on Admiralty Island year-round. They offer two primary hunts out of their remote lodge in Pybus Bay, about 75 miles south of Juneau, accessible only by float plane—a scenic 45-minute flight over glaciers and rugged terrain.
Spring (April 29 - May 21) and fall (September 14 - October 6) brown bear hunts take place during peak activity periods.
Spring hunts coincide with the breeding season—expect long glassing hours over grass flats as bears move across the landscape.
Fall hunts run during salmon runs when bears concentrate at streams and rivers. With bear movement highest during cool morning and evening hours, you'll hunt from pre-dawn until dark. Spot-and-stalk style hunting over grass flats and shorelines requires minimal physical demands.

Deer hunting involves easy to moderate hiking on shorelines, forested areas, and muskeg (open/sparsely wooded terrain deer cross during the rut). You'll leave the lodge around 8am and return between 4-5pm.
