All Points Birddogs

All Points Birddogs is a professional gun dog training operation based in Flagstaff, Arizona, specializing in pointing breeds for AKC Field Trials and hunting season. Owner and head trainer Patrick Clark has built a reputation for producing high-level competition dogs and bringing hunters' field dogs to the field-ready.

Clark transitioned to professional training after a successful 2022 season handling Scorch (FC AFC Vista Make It Burn) to his Field Championship and Amateur Field Championship titles. That same year, Scorch finished as the #2 AKC Gun Dog nationally and earned the 2022 VCA Amateur Gun Dog of the Year award.

In 2024 alone, Clark has trained, handled, and finished multiple Field Champions and Regional Field Champions, including:

• •Oliver (RFC DC Vezeto's Alpine Redemption) – Won the inaugural SCVC Desert Classic Regional Championship and earned his Dual Champion title with a 5-point major
• •Aspen (FC AFC Coppersage Aspen) – Ranked #8 AKC Gun Dog
• •Zinger (FC Firestorm Hot Diggity) – Field Champion with multiple major wins

Clark also campaigns dogs at AKC Field Trials across the country and earns ribbons at competitive National events.

Pointing breed AKC Field Trials put dogs in competitive situations covering open ground with professional judging. Clark prepares dogs for trial or campaigns them himself at sanctioned events, working toward FC (Field Champion), AFC (Amateur Field Champion), and DC (Dual Champion) titles.

A minimum three-month program that gets pointing breeds field-ready for hunting season. Training covers:

• •Bird introduction and conditioning
• •Steady to wing
• •Shot and fall response
• •Teaching dogs to honor (back) other dogs
• •Retrieve training

Training is tailored to each dog's age and owner goals. You'll receive regular progress updates and adjustments as needed. Dogs graduate prepared for both hunting and advanced AKC Hunt Test titles (SH and MH).

Clark campaigns dogs year-round at AKC Field Trials and hunt tests nationwide. This service requires an evaluation first. Available on a per-dog basis depending on schedule.
