Full description and what we offer
Coconino Game Processing has been processing hunts since 1999. Dennis and Dani Champagne built this operation on a simple principle: your hunt matters, and the work between the field and your freezer determines what actually ends up on your table.
Basic cuts split the animal down the middle—half becomes steaks, half becomes roasts. Special cuts let you customize: tenderizing, sliced jerky, extra stew meat, extra hamburger, double-wrapping for storage.
They make sausage in-house. Bulk or cased. Choose from: - Hot or Mild Chorizo - Italian (mild or hot) - Andouille - Country Breakfast - Bratwurst - Kielbasa - Habanero Green Chili
Smoked meats and jerky are also available—Southwest, Peppered, or Teriyaki—plus pepperoni sticks and jalapeño cheese sticks.
| Game | Whole Animal | Boned Out |
|---|---|---|
| Deer/Antelope | $1.40/lb | $1.60/lb |
| Elk/Buffalo/Bear/Mt. Lion | $1.40/lb | $1.60/lb |
Skinning runs $65 (deer), $100 (elk), $120 (buffalo). Sausage starts at $20/5 lbs for cased, $25/10 lbs for bulk. Jerky is $20/lb dried weight—note that 3 lbs of meat yields 1 lb of finished jerky.
