Full description and what we offer
Haigler Creek sits on 5 acres near Young, Arizona—about 15 miles north of town on Haigler Creek itself. Owners Judd and Andrea Whalen run this as a full-service hunting lodge for serious hunters who want comfort without sacrificing access to some of Arizona's best hunting ground.
Elk, mule deer, white-tailed deer, turkey, and javelina are the main game. The property also has mountain lions, bears, and coyotes if you want to add those tags. You'll need a valid Arizona hunting license and appropriate tags for whatever you're pursuing.
Choose your experience. Their fully licensed guides know Arizona's wildlife and terrain and bring years of local knowledge. Guides typically determine start times based on that day's hunting location. If you want to DIY it, self-guided packages are available. Either way, ATVs and ORVs are available for faster access to hunting areas—bring your own if you prefer.
Luxury accommodations sleep up to 10 comfortably. Full kitchen, outdoor grills, cozy fireplaces, and views of the country. Starlink provides fast internet if you need to stay connected, plus streamed TV. Power comes from Arizona Power Company with a backup generator on site. Check-in is typically 6 PM the night before your hunt; checkout is 7 PM on your last day.
On the all-inclusive package, expect breakfast served, lunches built from power bars and trail mix, and a hearty dinner in the evening. Soda and water provided. Bring your own alcohol, but they can arrange a pickup if needed. Processing and meat preservation handled on-site—jerky, brats, summer sausage available. They also cape animals for taxidermy and partner with local taxidermists.
Physically challenged hunters can call to discuss what's possible. Spouses, guests, and children welcome (adjust pricing based on headcount). Food allergies? Let them know ahead of time. Pets are welcome at no charge, though owners cover any damages.
