Location details and information
The Arizona State Rifle and Pistol Association organizes shooting activity across several divisions, including a Vintage and Specialty Rifle Division, an Education and Training Division, and a Shotgun Division. Affiliated groups include a Junior High Power Team, Arizona Women's Shooting Associates, and Arizona High Power Shooting.
ASRPA's College of Firearms and 2A Training runs a Service Rifle Family Smallbore Course each winter semester at the Ben Avery Small Bore Range, an Arizona Concealed Weapons Certification course, a Range Safety Officer course and certification, a Civilian Anti-Terrorist Survival course, a Firearm Safety and Storage course, and Modern Sporting Rifle 101 and 202 courses. The association also offers a Coaches Certification Course for pistol, rifle, and shotgun.
The ASRPA Arizona Defense Match covers rifle handling, safety, competition, and preparedness, with one state championship held each year.
