Lake Havasu City Sportsman Club has been the center of shooting sports in Havasu for over 50 years. Started as a non-profit in 1971 and incorporated under a long-term use agreement with Lake Havasu City, the club operates entirely on membership dues and local support—no government funding.
Cold Range Policy: No open carry on club property. All firearms loaded only at the firing line, unloaded before leaving. Safety is everyone's responsibility.
Four trap fields, American skeet/trap combination field, and 5-stand/international skeet field. All trap fields have voice-activated targets and premium throwers. Lighting available for night shooting on 5-stand, skeet, and trap.

Rental shotguns available. Lead shot only (no steel or tungsten). Shot sizes limited to #7½, #8, or #9.
Two unmanaged rifle bays available during member hours (sunup to sundown). Monthly sanctioned matches include:
- •Small-Bore Bench Rest (22 LR rim-fire): 1st and 3rd Saturdays
- •High-Power Across the Course (XTC): 1st Sunday at 200 yards
- •High-Power Prone F-Class and Palma: 2nd Sunday at 300 yards
- •USPSA/London Bridge Action Shooters: 3rd weekend
- •Bench Rest High Power: 4th Sunday
No pistol cartridges or rim-fire on the 300-yard range. Class III firearms require written board approval.
Multiple target setups for real-life scenario practice. Monthly events include:
- •SASS Colorado River Regulators: 2nd and 4th Saturdays
- •Steel Challenge: 2nd Sunday
- •USPSA/London Bridge Action Shooters: 3rd weekend
Targets at 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, and 100 yards. No broadheads. 30-target roving range under development with 3-D tournaments planned.
Cost & Coverage - Annual: $75/year - Lifetime: $750 (one-time) - Includes spouse and children under 18 - Gate access card: $10 refundable deposit
What Members Get - Pistol, rifle, and archery range access sunup to sundown, 7 days a week - Lower shotgun fees (compared to day-pass rates) - Sometimes reduced match entry fees - One voting share in club governance - Membership card (spouse can request additional card)
How to Join New applicants must appear in person at the clubhouse during public hours. Membership office hours:

Cash only—club doesn't accept credit or debit cards. You'll receive range safety briefing, bylaw explanation, and gate operation instructions during enrollment.
Non-members welcome Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings during seasonal hours:
- •Summer (May-Sept): 7:00 am - 11:00 am
- •Winter (Oct-April): 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
Day pass: $10 for rifle, pistol, or archery ranges. Bring your own targets. Note: Shotgun range equipment available during shotgun range hours only.
Match events may close bays to the public. Check the schedule before visiting.
The club hosts: - ATA trap sanctioned matches - USPSA practical shooting (London Bridge Action Shooters) - SASS Single Action Shooting Society (Colorado River Regulators) - Small-bore and high-power rifle competition - Steel Challenge pistol
Members can propose new match formats to the board for approval.

Elected board of directors governs operations. Board and club meetings held first Tuesday of each month. No outstanding debt. Recent range improvements funded by club membership, local business contributions, and NRA Foundation grants.
