Lost Dutchman Sporting Clays

Lost Dutchman Sporting Clays is a sporting clays course located outside Florence, Arizona, roughly an hour from Florence or Picacho Peak, 50 minutes from Coolidge, and about an hour and fifteen minutes from Casa Grande. The final five miles of the approach road cross State Trust and Federal BLM land. The graded road is passable by most two-wheel drive vehicles with reasonable ground clearance, and passes through a double-sided steel gate and a barbed wire gate that visitors are asked to close behind them.

The range sits on land surrounded by Arizona state trust acreage, where dry camping is permitted under the state's recreational permit system. Nearby points of interest include the Picacho Mountains petroglyph sites along the approach road, the Biosphere 2 facility, and the Tom Mix Memorial.
