Full description and what we offer
Quack Attack started on a family farm in Arkansas County between DeWitt and Stuttgart back in 1998. What began with early morning hunts before school turned into a guide service when neighbors couldn't find birds on their own. They've been running fully guided waterfowl hunts ever since—and they've expanded significantly.
Today they operate across approximately 40 different hunting locations throughout Arkansas County, managed carefully for crop rotation each year. The core philosophy is simple: scout every day, hunt fresh birds every day. You won't hunt a location they didn't glass the afternoon before your hunt.
"We don't wine and dine our guests—we simply put all our emphasis on making sure you pull the trigger a lot."
Eight guides handle all hunts. Owner BJ West scouts constantly and also co-owns Quack Attack Canada Ltd. Long-term staff includes Spot Watson (21 years), JD Hollimon (18 years), and Cody Chapman (10 years). Most guides have day jobs during off-season—they hunt because they love it, not because they have to.
| Hunt Type | Cost | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Morning hunt with lodging | $450/person/day | Includes bird processing |
| Morning hunt, drive-up only | $425/person/day | Includes bird processing |

Getting There: Little Rock International (68 miles) or Memphis (145 miles). Plan arrival after 3 PM the day before your first hunt.
What You Need: Arkansas 5-day nonresident small game license ($70), state waterfowl stamp ($35), HIP registration (free, required), Federal Duck Stamp ($25).
Hunts sell out fast. About 85-90% of customers rebook for next year before leaving camp. New customer bookings open February 1st each year and typically fill same-day. Check for cancellation slots on a first-come basis.
Your well-trained dog is welcome, but they enforce one rule: if your dog doesn't retrieve, you do. No alcohol until the day's hunt is complete. Lodges have full kitchens and satellite TV; Stuttgart and DeWitt are short drives with restaurants if you'd rather not cook.
