Full description and what we offer
Norrell's created MolyResin™, a thermally cured coating designed for firearm finishing. What started as a solution for aluminum AR-15/M-16 receivers and stainless steel sound suppressors is now used across the firearms industry by gun shops, manufacturers, gunsmiths, law enforcement, and home DIYers.
MolyResin™ isn't a spray paint or typical epoxy. It's a phenolic resin that bonds to all metals through thermal curing:
You don't need industrial equipment. The process is straightforward:
1. Airbrush application (inexpensive equipment) 2. Thermal cure in an oven 3. Professional finish without wasteful processes
Mil-spec tested — meets military standards for durability and performance
Norrell's provides modern military and industry-standard colors plus vintage colors for special restoration projects. All finishes cure to uniform, smooth, crack-free appearance.
Shelf life: One year or longer under normal storage; extended significantly if refrigerated.
