Full description and what we offer

Peace River Waterfowl operates guided hunts in Peace River, Alberta and Wynne, Arkansas. The operation is built around one core idea: handle every detail so hunters can focus on shooting birds.

Alberta's Peace Country is staging ground for thousands of migrating waterfowl each September and October. The operation averages 111 birds per day with hunts that include:

  • Mallards - The Aspen Parkland has the highest densities of breeding mallards on the continent. Early September gets "really good" as birds roll into decoys by the hundreds to thousands.
  • Pintails - Heavy in early September with increased Alberta limits
  • Specks (White-fronted Geese) - Alberta recently bumped the limit to 8 per person
  • Canada Geese - Abundant throughout the season
  • Diver ducks - The region offers some of the best diver hunts in the West across countless untouched water bodies
  • Hunt Structure: Morning and evening hunts for 3-5 days unless you limit out. Daily bag limit is 8 ducks and 8 geese per person.
