Full description and what we offer
The Rock Airsoft operates a full-scale airsoft field carved into a working rock quarry near Bolivar, Missouri. Unlike traditional indoor ranges, this outdoor facility spans multiple terrain types with natural elevation changes, making it ideal for squad-based tactical play and large-scale milsim events.
The venue features:
Single fire only gameplay maintains engagement distances and prevents spray-and-pray tactics. Building-to-building shooting is encouraged; interior close-quarters combat is restricted to rifleman-class weapons to prevent injuries.
The 2026 10th Annual G&G Event (April 17-19) will be their signature gathering. Recent years have drawn 350+ players. Events run regardless of weather, feature lunch availability, and offer free camping (no services). Pre-registration runs $85 for the full 3-day weekend, $70 for Friday-Saturday only, or $20 for Sunday only.
First 75 pre-registered players receive laser-engraved 10th-anniversary coins. First 25 entries are entered in the main giveaway drawing; first 100 entries get secondary giveaway chances.
No exceptions on eye protection: full-seal ANSI Z87.1 rated goggles mandatory. Ages 12-17 require hard plastic lower protection; 18+ can wear mesh goggles if sealed properly. All players must sign a new waiver every calendar year (available for download). Minors need parental signature.
No real firearms allowed. This is a zero-tolerance policy—showing real guns in the staging area results in immediate removal.
| Class | FPS Limit | Engagement Distance | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rifleman | 400 fps | 50 ft min (single fire) | No binary triggers, max 25 RPS |
| DMR | 450 fps | 75 ft min | Single fire only, secondary required |
| Sniper | 500 fps | 100 ft min | Bolt action, secondary required, can't shoot inside buildings |
| Support | 400 fps | 50 ft min | Full auto allowed, secondary required indoors |
PolarStar/HPA systems chronograph using .30g BBs with tournament locks required on regulators. All weapons capped at 25 rounds per second maximum.
Management has specifically called out full-auto abuse damaging protective glass windows (lasting 8 years before destruction), vehicles, and building materials. Shooting at anything except enemies—vehicles in transport, props, structures—is prohibited. Violators can be removed without refund.
The rock quarry setting means loose rock hazards on steep slopes. Players are warned not to climb unstable hills or dislodge rocks onto downhill players. Boundaries are marked; wildlife boundaries may be down due to animals. Bring at least 2 liters of water (more in summer). Games proceed rain or shine unless canceled before game day. No refunds.
Open play uses timed medic healing. Special ops events require each player to bring 2 ACE bandages (3 ft minimum) for medic treatment. Surrender kills apply when an enemy is within 15 feet at a disadvantage—they can choose to surrender or call a medic. Medic healing happens in the field; if no medic arrives in time, players bleed out at respawn.
Referees maintain chronograph authority and can test any player's weapon. Any player can request a chrono check on suspected hot guns. Referees have final say on FPS compliance and field authority is absolute—disrespect results in removal.
