California Hunting Leases screens members for one of California's oldest and largest private hunting clubs. This isn't a day-hunt operation—it's year-round access to managed private land where you actually have a shot at game.

The Math on Private Land Hunting:

According to the 2020-21 California Department of Fish and Wildlife Wild Pig Take Report, 90.4% of successful pig hunters used private land. That's a 7% increase since 2016. A single day pig hunt on private land runs $700–$1,800. A full membership? Just over $2,000 annually for unlimited access.

This isn't just filling out a form. The Club's longevity comes from screening:

1. Initial Contact - Fill out form, receive latest CDFG harvest reports 2. Member Interview - Local club member contacts you, explains details in person or video 3. Screening - Club members ask questions, get to know you 4. Background Check - All candidates undergo screening 5. Committee Review - Membership committee reviews application 6. Activation - Typically 12 days if approved; 100% refund if denied

Nobody just joins the Club. If invited to apply, then membership screening happens.
