What started as Survival Training School of California evolved into a operation that now trains over 500 students per year across 21 unique courses.

Founder/Lead: Thomas Coyne Former firefighting helicopter crew member (HELITACK), EMT, helicopter hoist rescue team member, search & rescue technician, confined space rescue specialist, technical ropes rescue, swift water rescue technician. Trained U.S. Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Army, and Department of Defense personnel. Member of the helicopter rescue team for the first civilian space shuttle launches (X Prize Launches, 2003).
Firearms Instructor: Daniel Valencia 20 years active duty U.S. Navy service including special operations. Served as NSW Armorer, firearms instructor, weapons technician. Designated Range Safety Officer by Commanding Officer Seal Team One. Trained foreign nationals and administered combat support operations.
Firearms Instructor: Richard Kuan Chief Firearms Instructor at Azone Defense LLC. Certified in pistol, rifle, and shotgun. Credentialed by NRA, USCCA, CRPA, and CA-DOJ. Winchester Pro-Marksmanship "Distinguished Expert" qualification. USPSA and IDPA 3-gun competition shooter.
